Goodbye Cris....My Literary friend. My Inspiration. There will Never Be Another Like you, I Miss You........

I found you in a poem,

Or did you find me.....

Ongoing, with no definite end.

It was the start of something special.


Your work an inspiration to us all,

Your interaction, warm, welcoming and longed for,

Your genius, awe inspiring.

If you were my pencil, i would have no need of an eraser,

I could sketch all day, light strokes, dark strokes,

Make some sense of things in my scribblings, and the lead would remain intact.

If you were my paint palette,

There would be too many colours to contain in this life time,

I would add a colour daily, play around with it a little.

I would show the world my masterpiece.....

If you could be my paintbrush, we could add the colours together, and paint until eternity.

If you were my blanket, i would wrap you around me, many times.

I could then sleep on the bench, even in the rain, and feel no cold.........

The rain would only refresh..........

If you were the keys, i am tapping, i would tap more gently.

If i shared your coffee, it would not go cold.

If you were my sweetheart, i would share you with so many,

Many who have been touched by your kindness and understanding,

If i could have met you, i would have stood silently in admiration.............

I wish i could have heard you laugh, the way your friends describe.

Your poetry, and understanding will be around for eternity.

You truly left something we can treasure forever.

Thank you for making us all feel special,

Encouraging the writer within,

Taking the time to reach out, all accross the world, and touch us with your work of art.

Sleep well, I am so sad you suffered, now we are the ones who are suffering.......

Now at last i see your face. ......... I can tell that you are smiling, ....................Really Smiling..

This World Was Never Meant For One As Beautiful As You .......... Goodnight. xx
